Capping System

USPE offers several disciplines of capping technology. The inline capper uses a stationary pick-off to merge the cap to the bottle in a continuous motion. The bottle is contained by gripping belts that grasp the container as the cap is stripped from the chute and tightened by multiple sets of spindle wheels that tighten the caps to the determined torque with the use of mechanical clutches. Caps are oriented by selected cap sorting devices. The Cap Orienting Elevator, Centrifugal Bowl Sorter or Vibratory Cap Sorter are some of the choices of cap orienting devices offered for the range of caps required by application and customer’s needs. USPE automatic capper allows for the widest range of caps and bottles with minimal change parts.

The operator need only place caps onto the bottle and the Tightener completes the tightening – torqueing. This base model will handle caps from 8mm to 110mm, and containers from 1 to 14 inches tall.

Modular design; start with just a Cap Tightener, and then add Chute & Sorter later to convert to a fully automatic capper.
